Insights & Opportunity
Most custom footwear treats the shoe as a canvas for logos or isolated images. The opportunity was different: treat the entire shoe as one composition, using color, placement, and form to tell a single story. Over 150 pairs have been created, each built around a specific person, memory, or moment rather than a repeatable template.
Process
Story, to composition, to hand painted final piece.
Meet with each client to understand the story or memory behind the piece
Sketch composition concepts treating the full shoe as one canvas
Select color palettes and materials suited to the story and the shoe's form
Hand paint and detail each pair using airbrush and fine technique
Seal and finish each piece for durability and daily wear
Deliver a one of one piece created for that specific person

Validation
Validation comes directly from the client relationship. Each piece is commissioned around a real person's story, and over 150 completed pairs reflect consistent trust and repeat demand rather than formal testing.
Production & Materials
Each pair is hand painted using airbrush and detail work, then sealed for durability. The same approach extends to jackets and shirts, though footwear remains the primary focus of this practice.
Outcome & Reflection
The work has grown into a body of over 150 one of one pieces, each built around a real story rather than a template. The hardest part of the craft is composition, building one cohesive piece rather than layering separate images onto a surface, so the final work feels intentional rather than decorated.
